Pirjo Suomela-Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on\u00a0 the Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey,\u00a0 on\u00a0 Monday, 9<sup>th<\/sup> April, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After exchange of pleasantries,\u00a0 Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey\u00a0 acknowledged the active relations Ghana shares with Finland. She underscored\u00a0 the need for the relations to\u00a0 be nurtured for the\u00a0 mutual benefit of both countries. She further stated that, Ghana has\u00a0 ambitious policies which, coupled with a thriving democracy, presents a peaceful and fertile arena for investors. She urged the\u00a0 Finnish Ambassador to take the opportunity to invite more investors from Finland into the country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On her part,\u00a0 H.E.\u00a0 Pirjo Suomela-Chowdhury\u00a0 reiterated the active relations between Ghana and Finland and expressed the hope that,\u00a0 the relations would be further strengthened.\u00a0 She\u00a0 commended the Ghana Beyond Aid initiative, among other things,\u00a0 and stated that, it was a policy upon which\u00a0 Ghana could derive its sustainable development.\u00a0 She also lauded the Government&#8217;s efforts at making Senior High School education accessible to all Ghanaians by the introduction of the free SHS policy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Ghana, H.E.
