Commissioner Iddrisa Sow, Chairperson of the Commission, brought together State Parties to deliberate on key issues relating to the promotion and protection of human and peoples\u2019 rights across the continent.<\/p>\n<p>Discussions emphasized the need for policy development, institutional capacity building, and the advancement of core principles for the promotion of human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Ghana\u2019s delegation was led by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson (MP), who reaffirmed Ghana\u2019s commitment to the ideals of the African Charter on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights.
