On Thursday,2nd April, 2026 Ghana and Zimbabwe held a Roundtable Forum in Accra with the aim of promoting trade and investment opportunities that exist in both countries for potential investors. The forum was part of the activities scheduled for the 3-day State Visit of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Emmerson D. Mnangagwa.<\/p>\n
Delivering his remarks, the Chief Commercial Officer, Trade Facilitation at the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Mr,Ebo Kobena Quaison urged the private sector to take full advantage of opportunities the forum provides to invest in tourism, agro processing and digital services in both countries.<\/p>\n
He indicated that the forum provides considerable scope for joint ventures, knowledge exchange and development of value chain that connect both economies. He added that the engagement is expected to lead to lead to new investments, partnerships between businesses.<\/p>\n
On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA), Mr. Tafadwza Chinamo said Zimbabwe was seeking investment in priority areas including energy, agriculture, tourism, manufacturing and service sectors.<\/p>\n
