The event underscores the enduring diplomatic relations between Ghana and these countries, reinforcing the goodwill that underpins these bilateral ties. The envoys were:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 His Excellency Ronald Micallef \u2013 High Commissioner of Malta<br \/>\n\u2022 His Excellency Andrei Ordash \u2013 Ambassador of the Russian Federation<br \/>\n\u2022 His Excellency Michal Cygan \u2013 Ambassador of the Republic of Poland<br \/>\n\u2022 His Excellency Bambang Suharto \u2013 Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia<br \/>\n\u2022 Her Excellency Isbeth Lisbeth Quiel Murcia \u2013 Ambassador of the Republic of Panama<br \/>\n\u2022 His Excellency Armen Sargsyan \u2013 Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia<br \/>\n\u2022 His Excellency Selestine Gervas Kakele \u2013 High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>President Mahama warmly welcomed the envoys, emphasizing Ghana&#8217;s commitment to deepening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors, including trade and investment, agriculture and agro-processing, education, energy, technology, infrastructure, tourism, skills development, and industrialization. He highlighted Ghana&#8217;s 24-Hour Economy initiative and its membership in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) as critical elements for fostering shared growth and prosperity and encouraged them to take advantage of Ghana\u2019s strategic position as a gateway to the African market. He noted that, despite differences in geography, culture and levels of development, Ghana and their respective countries remained united by shared aspirations for peace, prosperity and international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>President Mahama also underscored the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing contemporary global challenges such as climate change, terrorism, food insecurity, irregular migration, and economic uncertainty.
