Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has returned from the just-ended Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n<p>His participation afforded him the opportunity to assess the significant progress Ghana is making in its relations with her strategic partner, like Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa held a positive meeting with the Foreign Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Sean S.M. Sobers (MP) focusing on new investments, and expanding our oil and gas partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Next year, Ghana will commission its new High Commission in Trinidad, with His Excellency William Anani Abotsi, as the first Ghana High Commissioner to that country.<\/p>\n<p>Forging closer ties with international allies to advance Africa\u2019s case for UN reforms.<\/p>\n<p>Putting forward reconfiguration of the international financial architecture, AI regulation, climate justice, resource sovereignty, reparatory justice and conflict resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Long live Ghana Trinidad and Tobago relations!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon.
