BREAST CANCER AND MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

In line with the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a healthy and productive workforce by championing initiatives that safeguard the physical and mental well-being of its staff, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized an interactive educational health session to create awareness on Breast Cancer, Mental Health and Prostate Cancer. The session which was led by medical staff from the Greater Accra Regional Hospital focused on the causes, prevention, and dangers of breast and prostate cancer. Regular medical check-ups were advocated for early detection to save lives. Breast cancer screening was conducted by the medical staff. In addition, employees were admonished to prioritise their mental health as the world observes Mental Health Day.
