As part of efforts to strengthen the existing cordial relations between the Republics of Ghana and Zambia, the following Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the three-day State Visit of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to Zambia:
i. Diaspora Cooperation between the Republic of Zambia and the Republic of Ghana;
ii. Cooperation in Disaster Risk Management;
iii. Institutional collaboration between the Zambia Development Agency and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority;
iv. Standardization and Conformity Assessment between the Zambia Bureau of Standards and the Ghana Standards Authority;
v. Waiver of visa requirements for holders of Diplomatic, Official/Service, and Ordinary Passports;
vi. Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding on Military Defence Cooperation;
vii. Rules of Procedure for the Joint Defence Implementation Committee;
viii. Bilateral Air Services Agreement between the Republic of Ghana and the Republic of Zambia;
ix. Cooperation in the field of Health; and
x. Regulatory collaboration between the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority and the Food and Drugs Authority of Ghana.
