On Monday, 30th March, 2026 the Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khadija Iddrisu received the Open Letters of the Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of South Sudan to Ghana, Her Excellency Jacquiline Natepi Ben Lochalamoi.
Ambassador Iddrisu congratulated the Ambassador-Designate on her appointment and the confidence reposed in her by the Government of South Sudan. She noted the relevance of strengthening the bilateral relations between Ghana and South Sudan in the areas of mutual interest. She further highlighted the need to deepen collaboration at the continental level to promote peace, stability and development on the continent.
On her part, the Ambassador-Designate affirmed her commitment to enhancing relations between the two countries. She noted the longstanding ties between Ghana and South Sudan and stressed the need to build on existing cooperation for the mutual benefit of the citizens.
