ACTING CHIEF DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS GRANTS AUDIENCE TO AMBASSADOR OF MOROCCO

The Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khadija Iddrisu granted audience to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Imane Ouaadil on Thursday, 4th December, 2025  to discuss bilateral matters aimed at strengthening the relations between Ghana and Morocco and also explore opportunities to enhance the existing cooperation between the two counties.  

The Acting Chief Director and the Ambassador deliberated on the need to reactivate and operationalise existing bilateral cooperation frameworks, with a view to achieving tangible results in key sectors including education, tourism, and agriculture, among others. They also underscored the importance of leveraging the existing visa-waiver agreement to enhance business cooperation and people-to-people exchanges and agreed that increased sensitisation of citizens in both countries will be essential to fully harness the benefits of this arrangement to further strengthen the bilateral relations.
