The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okuzdeto Ablakwa (MP), had a briefing session with the newly appointed Deputy Heads of Mission and Heads of Consular Missions on 22nd October, 2025. The objective of the session was to equip them for the discharge of their mandate.
In his address, the Minister urged them to strive to protect the image of Ghana at all times. In relation to the pursuit of economic diplomacy, the Minister stressed the importance of attracting investment into the country and tasked them to enhance existing diplomatic relations.
In response to the remarks, the newly appointed envoys pledged to contribute their quota to building Ghana.
