FAREWELL CALL ON MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS BY HIGH COMMISSIONER OF INDIA

The High Commissioner of India, His Excellency Manish Gupta paid a farewell call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) on Tuesday, 10th February, 2026 as he completes his tour of duty in Ghana.

During the meeting, the Honourable Minister lauded the High Commissioner for his contribution in strengthening Ghana and India relations by working assiduously to promote cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest including trade and investment, health, agriculture and education. The Minister also acknowledged the support of the Government of India in the area of capacity-building and cited the establishment of the Foreign Service Institute. He further assured of the commitment of Ghana to further build on the strategic partnership to elevate the relations between the two countries.
