GHANA – GRENADA POLITICAL CONSULTATIONS

The maiden session of Political Consultations between Ghana and Grenada officially opened on Thursday, 16th October, 2025. The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) in his opening remarks, recalled the historical ties between Ghana and Grenada and assured of Ghana’s commitment to further strengthen the relations between the two countries.

On his part, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada, Honourable Joseph Andall stated that there are trade and investment opportunities in both countries which could be explored by the private sector.

The two sides are expected to have comprehensive discussions on cooperation in the areas of tourism, culture and creative arts, health, education, climate change and disaster management, trade and investment, among others.
