The first ever Political Consultation between Ghana and Peru was held on 16th September,2025 in Lima, Peru. The Political Consultation was aimed at deepening the bilateral relation between the two countries. Discussions were centered, among others, on trade, economic and tourism, technical cooperation and bilateral air services agreement.
The Ghanaian delegation was led by Ambassador Muhammad Adam, Director-General of the Foreign Service Institute while the Peruvian side was led by Ambassador Jorge Raffo, Director General for Africa, the Middle East, and Gulf Countries.
