President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has concluded an official visit to France aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation on security and climate-related challenges.
During the visit, President Mahama held bilateral talks with President Emmanuel Macron on deepening Ghana–France relations. The two leaders exchanged views on expanding trade and investment cooperation, supporting Ghana’s energy transition agenda and strengthening collaboration in the area of security. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.
The President also engaged with senior officials of the Government of France on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including infrastructure development, economic transformation and health, consistent with Ghana’s broader development objectives.
The visit provided an opportunity to reinforce the longstanding relations between Ghana and France.
