During the State Visit of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Singapore, two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) namely; Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana and the Republic Singapore; and Memorandum of Understanding Between the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre were signed to deepen the existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
These MOUs were signed after fruitful bilateral meeting between His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and his Singaporean counterpart His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam on 27th August, 2025. His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana also held a meeting with His Excellency Lawrence Wong, the Prime Minister of Singapore.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana and the Republic Minister for Foreign Affairs was signed by Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) and his counterpart, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
Mr. Simon Maadjie, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and Mr. Kong Wy Mun, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective institutions. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the President of the Republic of Ghana and the Prime Minister of Singapore.
