The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has returned from the just-ended Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua and Barbuda.

His participation afforded him the opportunity to assess the significant progress Ghana is making in its relations with her strategic partner, like Trinidad and Tobago.

Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa held a positive meeting with the Foreign Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Sean S.M. Sobers (MP) focusing on new investments, and expanding our oil and gas partnerships.

Next year, Ghana will commission its new High Commission in Trinidad, with His Excellency William Anani Abotsi, as the first Ghana High Commissioner to that country.
