Ambassador of Turkey to Ghana pays farewell call on Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Hon. Charles Owiredu

The Ambassador of Turkey to Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Penbe Nesrin Bayazit  paid a farewell call on the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Charles Owiredu on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Hon. Charles Owiredu congratulated Ambassador Bayazit for a successful four (4) year tour of duty. He recalled the good relations between Ghana and Turkey, and added that the relations had been strengthened over the years. Hon. Owiredu urged that both countries work to enhance their economic cooperation for their mutual benefit.

Her Excellency Mrs. Penbe Nesrin Bayazit for her part, noted that her tour of duty had been successful. She indicated that the relations between Ghana and Turkey had been further strengthened and called for more cooperation in various areas of development.

Ambassador Bayazit urged that the Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation(PJCC) between Ghana and Turkey which began in 1997, as well as other agreements between the two countries  be further enhanced.  She assured that her country would continue to work to strengthen relations with Ghana.
