The week-long Chief Directors’ Policy Dialogue ended on Friday, March 16th, 2018 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra. In attendance at the closing ceremony were, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, the Head of Civil Service, Nana Agyekum Dwamena, Chief Directors of the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) , Officials from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, and the Media, among others.
Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, expressed appreciation to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, (UNECA), for its ingenious initiative to build capacity and provide a platform for sharing experiences on issues that would lead to the advancement of the Ghanaian economy. She further indicated that, the impressive patronage of the Policy Dialogue by the Chief Directors was indicative of a diligent quest, to broaden their knowledge at a time when it is crucial for MDAs to apply their competencies in the formulation of effective policies and strategies for Ghana’s economic aspirations.
At the end of the ceremony, the Chief Directors issued a compact on, Accountable, Effective, and Efficient Service Delivery, in support of the development agenda of the Republic of Ghana.
