Deputy Minister For Foreign Affairs And Regional Integration, hon. Charles Owiredu , Receives Open Letters From The Ambassador Designate Of The Kingdom Of Morocco , On Monday, 14th May, 2018.

The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Charles Owiredu, received Open Letters  from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ghana, H.E. Mohamed Faraht on Monday, 14th May, 2018. In attendance were the Political Counsellor of the Moroccan Embassy, Mr. Moulay Zaine Elmoussaoui , the First Secretary, Mr Mohamed Amine Baytar as well as officials of  the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Hon. Owiredu  warmly welcomed Ambassador  Faraht and his team.  He acknowledged the existing  relations between the Republic of Ghana and the Kingdom of Morocco. He further stated that relations between the two countries date back to the period when the Organisation of African Unity (O.A.U.), now the African Union (AU), was first established. He indicated that, the Ambassador’s arrival to Ghana was timely as the leaders of both countries were seeking to deepen the industrial base of their countries in order to boost their economies.  He intimated that, Ghana had created a conducive environment for investors and called on Morocco to invest into the country.

On his part,  H.E. Mohamed Faraht, underscored the existing strong relations between the two countries and assured of Morocco’s  continuous commitment to further strengthen the relations. The Ambassador in turn urged Ghana to invest in Morocco and to make the Strategic Partnership between both countries possible.
