On Wednesday, 25th February 2026 Officials from the Visa Facilitation Services (VFS) led by the Regional Head for Central and West Africa, Mr. Prashant Kansara paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable James Gyakye Quayson (MP). During the meeting, the deliberations centered on the need to deepen institutional collaboration for the benefit of the citizens of Ghana.
The Honourable Minister noted that the Ministry is committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure that Ghanaians receive quality public service.
On his part, Mr. Kansara briefed the Deputy Minister about the establishment and operations of the VFS in Ghana and indicated the readiness of VFS to consider feedback to further enhance services to ensure customer satisfaction.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasising the importance of quality service delivery and transparency.
Present at the meeting were Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director of Legal and Education (VFS), Gbese Mantse Nii Armah Addy and Deputy General Manger Operations Ghana, Madam Cleopatra Avenorgbo.
