A four-day training programme on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) was organised for selected staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration from Tuesday, 30th August to Friday, 2nd September, 2022 at the Ministry’s Conference Room. The training programme was targeted at all Directors and Deputy Directors both at base and at post, as well as the Internal Auditors of the Ministry.
The purpose of the training programme was to equip Senior-level staff with the requisite knowledge in areas of Enterprise Risk Management. Resource persons from the Internal Audit Agency took the staff of the Ministry through, the legal framework of ERM, Risk Management Framework, Risk Principles and the ERM Process and Standards.
The Chief Director of the Ministry, Amb. Ramses Cleland, in his closing remarks commended the officers for their active participation and dedication to the learning experience and encouraged them to apply the knowledge acquired through the discussions and interactions to improve the general performance of the Ministry.
