MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL SANITATION DAYS’ CLEAN-UP EXERCISE

The Management and Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, 10th July, 2026 participated in a nationwide clean-up exercise coordinated by the Government through the Post-Flood Mitigation Committee. The clean-up campaign themed “Our Actions, Our Future: Cleaning Ghana after the Floods” seeks to improve sanitary conditions, mitigate the risk of flooding and promote civic responsibility towards the environment. The exercise is expected to continue tomorrow, 11th July, 2026 in line with the declaration made by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

Accoutred with rakes, shovels and other cleaning equipment, the premises of the Ministry and its immediate surroundings were cleaned by the Management and Staff.

The participation of the Ministry in the exercise reflects its commitment to support national efforts aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and public health.
