On Monday, 24th April 2018, the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, received letters of credence from the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Ghana, H.E. Sungsoo Kim at the Jubilee House, Accra. In attendance were the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Charles Owiredu as well as officials of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
At the ceremony the President assured the Republic of South Korea of Ghana’s support on diplomatic efforts to bring peace within the Korean Peninsula. He further assured the Ambassador of the Government’s commitment to make his tour of duty a success.
The Ambassador on his part pledged his commitment to ensuring that, Ghana- Korea relations was further enhanced for the benefits of both countries. He further welcomed the support offered by the President in the ongoing diplomatic efforts to secure peace in the Korean Peninsula.
