King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Centre Supports Ghana with Medical Items

 

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Centre (KSRELIEF) has supported Ghana with medical items to help enhance healthcare delivery in the country.

At a handing over ceremony which took place on Monday November 12, 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Charles Owiredu acknowledged the bilateral relations between Ghana and Saudi Arabia.

Hon. Owiredu indicated that Saudi Arabia had over the years contributed towards Ghana’s development. He mentioned the award of scholarships to Ghanaian students, infrastructure development and the donation of the medical items as some of the support Ghana had received from Saudi Arabia and added that, the gesture would go a long way to deepen the mutual relations between the two countries.

The leader of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Centre, Mr. Hamad Abdullah Almajed, for his part thanked Ghana for the bilateral cooperation with his country. He indicated that the donation of medical items was part of efforts to support Ghana’s health care system. He also used the occasion to assure of his country’s readiness to support Ghana in her environmental protection efforts.
