The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has assured of the Ministry’s readiness to assist the National Peace Council in accessing the requisite support from the United Nations System in pursuit of its mandate.
Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey gave the assurance when the Board Chairman of the National Peace Council, Reverend Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi, led a joint delegation comprising officials from the National Peace Council and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Office in Ghana to pay a courtesy call on the Minister on Wednesday 6th July, 2022.
The meeting discussed issues pertaining to efforts geared towards sustaining peace and peace-building in Ghana.
