The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable James Gyakye Quayson (MP), on 23rd September 2026, held a fruitful engagement with the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps in Dublin, His Excellency Dr. Lahcen Mahraoui,. the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ireland.
The meeting formed part of the Deputy Minister’s official working visit to Ireland, ahead of the re-opening of Ghana’s Mission in that country, and it provided an opportunity for the two to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, strengthen diplomatic relations, and deepen cooperation among the diplomatic community.
The engagement underscores Ghana’s commitment to constructive dialogue, collaboration and stronger diplomatic partnerships in advancing shared interests.
