Ghana’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Ambassador Harold Adlai Agyeman has presented a replica jersey of the Black Stars to the UN Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres in New York.
According to Ambassador Harold Agyeman, the jersey is a gift from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in solidarity with Portugal, the home country of Mr. António Guterres. Ghana and Portugal are in the same group for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The jersey was signed by some Black Stars players.
Mr. Guterres expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo and wished the Black Stars well in the World Cup tournament in Qatar.
