On Thursday, 18th January, 2017, H.E. the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, received letters of credence from the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger, H.E. Alhousseini Ousmane. In his remarks, Ambassador Ousmane indicated that his presence in the country would lead to a further strengthening of relations between Ghana and Niger. He also stated that Niger intends to foster closer trade cooperation with Ghana, which would inure to the mutual benefit of both countries.
The President commended Mr. Ousmane for his intention to strengthen relations with Ghana, and expressed the hope that the latter would continue the good works of his predecessor.
