Huawei Ghana has presented two Huawei video conferencing equipment to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration at a short ceremony on Wednesday, 21st December 2022 at the Ministry to support its virtual programmes.
The Director for Government and Public Affairs, Mrs. Jenny Zhou presented the equipment to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey on behalf of the Managing Director of Huawei Ghana, Mr. Tommy Liang. She lauded Huawei’s fruitful partnership with the Government of Ghana and hoped that the mutually beneficial partnership would be further deepened.
On her part, Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey applauded the remarkable achievements of the cooperation between Huawei and the Government of Ghana over the past few years. She noted that the COVID-19 pandemic has made it a norm for meetings to be held virtually. She, therefore, expressed appreciation for the gesture and added that the equipment would be put to good use.
